Alfredo - Manager
Alfredo was born in Cecina, Tuscany in 1983. Fresh off the plane 4 years ago, Alfredo, who could bearly speak a word of english, applied for a job with us as... Now with an Advanced diploma of Hospitality Management and a political science degree under his belt, Alfredo has worked his way up to become not only the top manager here, but he also speakes fluent English, and has raised the bar when it comes to ensureing top notch customer service to all our valued customers.
James - Head Chef
James was born in Croydon, London in 1982. He started his cooking career at the age of 15, working as a kitchen assistant and pizza maker in his mum's Italian restaurant. When James started college at 19 to study hospitality and catering, he also took on full time work experience at the famous Ritz restaurant in London. 18 months later after he graduated, James started working his way around London, picking up valuable experience in various restaurants, including Michelin star restaurant - Le Escargot, and 2AA Rosette restaurant - The French Table. Needing a change, James moved to Perth at 24, and has been with us as head chef ever since, enjoyng the freedom to create his own food as well as passing on valuable experience and knowelege to his team below him.
Francesco - Sous Chef
Francesco was born in Cecina, Tuscany in 1988. As a teenager, Francesco discovered his passion for cooking by regularly helping his mum in the kitchen. At the age of 16 he took on a three year apprentiship in his home town, and then at the age of 19 he moved to Australia with his brother to continue his cooking career and also obtain a diploma in cookery. He has now been at Cafe Bellavista for 4 years, and has worked his way up to Sous chef through sheer hard work and dedecation to the love of food.
Bernardino - Assistant Manager
Bernardino was born in Laguna, Philippines in 1962. His first job was managing a Real Estate company in the Philippines, before moving to Madrid with his family in 2002. In Spain, he obtained a waiter position at the four star restaurant - Restaurante Filo, where he was soon promoted to Assistant Manager. Several years later, Bernardino decided to broaden his horizons by moving to Australia, and has been with us for the past 3 years. Bernardino has again utilized his exceptional people skills to find himsel in yet another managerial role for us here at Bellavista.
Riccardo - Pizza Chef
Riccardo originated from Rome, Italy back in the late 60's. His love of all things round began when he became one of the first ever gourmet woodfired pizza chefs in Perth, starting his career at Woodpeckers Pizzeria in Subiaco back in the early 90's. Riccardo joined our team about 2 years ago, and has since added a new dimension to the Bellavista dining experience, by providing valued customers with a wide variety of his authentic Italian pizzas.
Corrado - Waiter
Corrado was born in Bergamo, Milan in 1987. Corrado's Hospitality carreer started off when he worked his way up to head waiter at the Best Western 4 star Hotel in his home town. After completing his five year course and receiving his diploma of Hospitality Management, Corrado decided to move over to Perth to further his studies in Hospitality. He has recently joined our team here, and is looking to work his way up to the top just like he did back in Milan.
